¬°Benvenidos! - Welcome!

The South Valley Soccer Club (SVSC) is a youth soccer organization, which is part of the Northwest Rio Grande Soccer League (NWRGSL), the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association (NMYSA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). The Club has served Albuquerque's South Valley since 1988.

The mission of the SVSC is to provide affordable, skill-based education and training to boys and girls in the game of soccer from ages 4 to 18. We are proud to train, educate and develop players who practice physical activity and develop an appreciation of soccer.

The SVSC is run exclusively by volunteers, from the Board of Directors, to the coaching staff. It is this dedicated volunteer base that makes our club successful. Our Board of Directors consists of a team of volunteers that represents a dynamic group of individuals, all of whom possess a great enthusiasm for helping to prepare children and youth for a healthy and happy adolescence and adulthood.

Practice Re-Opens with Strict Guidelines

UPDATED 2/24/2021

As you may have heard, the Governor has allowed Phase I of the Return to Play initiative for all soccer leagues and clubs.

What does this mean? It means that we can have practice again but under very clear and strict guidelines. Those guidelines are listed below:

I. It is a VERY LIMITED practice

+ There is a 9 player to 1 Coach limit

+ Players and Coaches MUST wear a mask to the field, while on the field and when leaving the field.

+ Players and Coaches MUST maintain social distancing - 6 Feet apart minimum.

+ There is NO CONTACT allowed in Phase I.

+ No sharing of water or equipment.

+ No Spectators lined up on the field sidelines - Parents MUST wear a mask.

+ 15 yard minimum between all practice groups.

+ Suggest ONLY Ages 9 and above for Phase I practice.

+ Practice Attendance Must be Documented and turned into the club within 48 hours.

+ All players must be registered with the club in order to practice.

This is so they are covered by the league insurance.

II. Registration

+ The Registration Fee will be $65.00 per player.

+ This fee IS NOT refundable.

+ In the event, there IS NOT a Spring Season and we are still allowed to have practice, this fee will cover practice for the entire Spring.

+ In the event, there IS a Spring Season, the $65.00 fee will serve as a deposit and be applied to the full Spring Registration fee of $90. At that time, you will need to pay $25.00 and you will be able to play for the Spring Season.

+ The $65.00 Fee WILL NOT be credited towards Fall 2021 Registration in the event that there is not a Spring 2021 Season.

+ Please make sure you only pay $65.00.
